AYNTK BASIC IDEA
How do we respond as a collective counter culture of ideas against all that is going on by those who are destroying the institutions that once gave purpose to the idea of engagement in public life. How do we help to re-enchant by common values, towards common futures using the opportunity of the time we are in. How do we build some concrete material solutions to concrete material problems by listening and responding to peoples concerns.
WHAT WILL WE BE DOING – When will we be doing it
At present we are building a framework to present ideas and activities. We will work with any kinds of ideas and anything that can help to engage people with public life. We emphasis this as the project will work to bring new blood into the movement for change, by encouraging peoples curiosity to get involved. Much of the beginning work will be survey like. Looking at the villages of our city. Who knows maybe encouraging folk to re-identifying with their radical history of their places and help to create portals that folk can add their knowledge to. So much of this work is already being done. We would like to link and encourage more of it. How the work shapes up in AYNTK will depend on what folk think that they can bring to the project. But if they just wish to be involved there is plenty that they could help with.
WHEN DOES IT START
This kind of work has been going on for many years, by many people in many places and by many inspirational community leaders who can respond, represent and articulate their communities interests. But each generation has the responsibility of finding new people to take on the roll of representatives. (That is what we mean when we say leaders. Not to be confused by the leaders of party politics.) So this work is on going, AYNTK is just part of the on going job of reminding people of if they do not represent themselves, somebody else will do it for them. And they probably won’t like it, if the present political administration and climate is anything to go by.
WHAT DO WE NEED – Development stage

Video/photography interviewing skills.
Cheap spaces for meetings/events.
Help set up screenings.
Rickshaw rider/ Building sets for on top rickshaw.
Folk nights/ceilidh/discussions and organise
No special skills are needed in any of this
just a general interest to take part and a sense of humour.
HOW CAN YOU HELP
It is kind of asking how long is a bit of string. There are endless ways and ideas of how folk can engage. Just pitch an idea. But we would ask, not just ideas themselves, but ideas you would want to participate in and would fit the general agenda of the project. Opening peoples minds to the benefits of self determined communities and citizenship. Or if you like an interest in public life
WHO ARE WE?
We are a loose bunch of anarchists, communists and the disenfranchised, who work to help enlighten folk of the benefits of mutual aid, solidarity, cooperation, internationalism and the history of radicalism in our city and beyond. And all of the things that help to keep us free, creative and interesting. Here we do not go on about, why the war is bad, but use our time in building resistance to stop it. Apart from political parties and what we see is detrimental to our communities, we like Frederic Douglas will work with anyone to do good.
It could be added though, we do not see every groups agenda and every persons viewpoint as being equally relevant. There is a bias towards places and people who have been disconnected from the inner-core of public debate and how it is an imperative, that their voices be heard. If we are to challenge the political, wreckage, coming down the pipeline that will sooner or later affect all of our right to live a decent life. But particularly in working class communities who usually bear the biggest brunt of that wreckage.
