Bringing things into broad public awareness
There are many in our communities who do not agree with our government being involved in state mass murder (such as in Palestine). But as well as that and at the same time, many of them are suffering from more localised forms of abuse. The cost of living con, crap paid jobs, shit housing, lack of amenities, poverty and such-like.
This stuff has everything to do with our government’s adoption of US domestic and foreign policies, including the Israeli lobby, big business, the legacy media, corrupt politicians and paid influencers on social media.
But all of these critical connections need to be made and shared with the people in the places who suffer most from the effect of them. If not, good people will continue to fall through the reactionary trap-door, set up by the right wing, that is against their own interests.
We will try to connect with folk, not by preaching about why the war is bad, but by trying to build understanding through doing things. By making the news. By connecting things people already do, and even enjoy, in shaping ideas to get others interested and involved.
