All you need to know (to get on with things)
Is about looking at structures and ideas that might help folk to become politically aware of what is going on around them. By a stepping stone approach and as cliched as it is by. “Getting back to basics”.
The format is based on popular education, where the tutor if you like, on one project can be the student on another. Where the activist who has been round the block a few times can work around a shared experience with those new to politics/activism.
The work here has been put together by a few people, who are just as busy as anyone else, but hopefully the reader can help to fill in some blanks themselves to make all of our work a bit less frantic, as it sometimes gets.
These ideas are nothing new and come up every 10 or 15 years in cycles then fade out again. Occasionally when the stars and moons align they catch on by different groups people at the same time and start to make progress. This would be part of that time. Time for a reshuffle of ideas.
AYNTK again is designed around helping people to find out where they want to go from the basic understanding of citizenship to more deeply involved ideas of setting-up through collaboration, news groups, publications, events and scoping out the critical things that connect people.
From the beginner learning, to those who need to remember there was a time when they were beginners themselves.
