Putting it together and how we could do things
The world is our oyster, regarding how we go about things by finding places for local experts, trainers and folk keen to learn
A few examples could be:
• Finding and connecting with groups around the city who are doing similar work. (Part of critical connecting)
• Concentrating on the perimeters of the city and working our way in. (The Villages)
• Encouraging citizens of our villages, such as: Castlemilk, Calton, Parkhead, Rutherglen, Clydebank and so on, to explore and share their history.
• Work with video, audio, photography, blogs and print, in exploring working class history of campaigns, past and present.
• Technology: How do we get our heads round technology? How to use it. How it is used against us.
Social media is not social, most of it is a social problem. We will work with meetings, field trips, city strolls, films, hobbies, art, sport, culture and play, and all forms of communication that social media displaces for many – and making our own local media.
